Changing ISCAS 2020 to a virtual event has modified the conference finances originally budgeted. The absence of a social program and in-person hosting is in part compensated by the need to provide a solid, robust and scalable integrated platform to handle the conference online. After a comprehensive financial analysis, we estimate that around 20-30% of the original registration fee could be refunded. The exact amount and the refunding procedures will be defined once the financial report is completed, right after the event's closure.
Beyond the exact amount to be refunded to every registered delegate, and in tight coordination with the CAS Society, we’re offering two alternative modalities for refund to be selected at the discretion of each delegate, namely:
- Refund back to the original method of payment (credit card or bank account) in US Dollars. No other reimbursement method or account will be accepted. Recipients will support bank expenses.
- The author receives a voucher for the credit amount to be applied as part of the payment for the registration fee in ISCAS 2021. Vouchers will be handled by CASS Governance.
