Virtual ISCAS2020 new registration modalities

With the occasion of the first-in-history virtual ISCAS event, the IEEE CAS Society and the organizers want to grant members of the scientific community access to the technical contents of the conference at a reduced rate.

Full access for authors

All the co-authors of accepted ISCAS 2020 papers backed by a regular registration code will receive free credentials to access the virtual conference.

If you are an author but you are not yet registered, our virtual platform provider will correspond to you by email to check your availability for participating in the conference (excluding the Tutorials on Sunday, October 11 and the two Tutorials on Sunday, October 18 from 15:00 to 17:30 CEST) and send you the credentials upon filling out a short questionnaire.

Authors already registered will directly receive their credentials by email.

Tutorial sessions can only be attended by the tutorial registrants.

The following registration fees are defined:

The Sit-in Registration gives you on-line access to the following activities:

• Keynote lectures, overview lectures, mini-tutorials, plenary sessions (ceremonies, contests, WiCAS events, YP events, etc.) and the full technical program sessions. Please refer to the ISCAS 2020 program for details.
• Potential participation in Q&A sessions associated to the technical contributions. Session chairs will prioritize at their discretion, in pursuit of the highest possible scientific value of the Q&A round, the participation from full authors and sit-in participants, identified in the sessions with different access color codes.

The Tutorials on Sunday, October 11 and the two Tutorials on Sunday, October 18 from 15:00 to 17:30 (CEST) are excluded from this registration modality.

Registration Policy

1) The credentials are for personal, individual usage. Only one access per credential code will be allowed.

2) Registration cancellations are not possible in the sit-in modality.

3) Only credit card payments are accepted.

Cancellation Policy for authors registered before 4th, September 2020

100% refund for cancellations received before and on Friday, 4th September 2020; an administrative fee of 100.00 € will be applied.

50% refund for cancellations received between Saturday, 5th September 2020 and Friday, 25th September 2020.

NO REFUNDS for cancellation on and after Saturday 26th September 2020.

Payments made via Bank Transfer are non-refundable.

IEEE No Show Policy

In order to have your paper published in the IEEE Xplore digital library, it is required that you attend the conference AND present your paper in the assigned live session. In the new virtual context of ISCAS 2020, attendance implies the uploading of a pre-recorded presentation of your paper and your authorization for publishing any materials, including written, audio or visual works, submitted for use in connection with ISCAS 2020. In most cases, this authorization was implicit in the signed copyright form sent together with the final paper submission. If not, the Conference Secretariat, following instructions from the IEEE Intellectual Property Rights Office, will contact you requesting a hand signed consent and release form.

If you do not meet any of the above requisites for any reason, your paper will be excluded from Xplore. This policy applies equally to oral, poster and demo presentations.
